On Saturday, October 24th, 2026, Cryptic Championship Boxing League (CBL), in collaboration with Pink Smoke, proudly hosted its first-ever charity boxing event, "Stronger Than My Silence", bringing together fighters, supporters and members of the Second Life community for an evening that proved boxing can be about far more than competition.
The event, held at Cryptic Arena, was organised to raise awareness and funds for three deeply meaningful causes: Breast Cancer Awareness, Domestic Violence and Mental Health.
What followed was an extraordinary display of community spirit, compassion and generosity, with an incredible L$118,000 raised throughout the event.
L$118,000 Raised for Three Worthy Causes
From the opening moments of the event, the atmosphere was filled with excitement, anticipation and an overwhelming sense of togetherness.
Unlike Cryptic's regular championship events, admission was completely free, ensuring that everyone had the opportunity to attend, enjoy the boxing and contribute to the fundraising efforts.
Through the generosity of attendees and donors, the event successfully raised L$118,000, with the proceeds being divided equally between the three supported causes.
For Cryptic and Pink Smoke, the evening was never simply about the amount raised. It was about recognising the struggles faced by countless individuals and families, encouraging conversations around difficult subjects and demonstrating the strength of a community willing to stand together.
A Close Fundraising Battle: Foggy and Kam Ritchie Lead the Way!
One of the most memorable highlights of the evening was the exciting fundraising competition for the exclusive "Stronger Than My Silence" Bespoke Championship Belt.
Created especially for the campaign, the one-of-a-kind championship belt featured intricate gold detailing, symbolic awareness ribbons and the branding of both Cryptic CBL and Pink Smoke.
With the belt reserved for the evening's highest donor, the competition quickly became one of the night's biggest talking points.
Foggy and Kam Ritchie emerged as the evening's two highest bidders, engaging in an incredibly close and exciting contest that kept everyone watching in anticipation.
Both demonstrated extraordinary generosity, with Foggy eventually taking the lead and securing the title of Top Donor, becoming the proud recipient of the exclusive championship belt.
A huge congratulations goes to Foggy, alongside special recognition for Kam Ritchie, whose outstanding contribution helped drive the fundraising total to such an impressive figure.
However, while these two individuals led the bidding, the true success of the evening belonged to every single person who contributed.
Every Linden dollar donated, regardless of the amount, played an equally meaningful part in reaching the final total. Whether someone donated L$10, L$100, L$1,000 or more, their generosity was enormously appreciated.
No contribution was too small, and no act of kindness went unnoticed.
The remarkable L$118,000 raised was not the achievement of just one or two individuals. It was the collective accomplishment of an entire community that chose to come together and make a difference.
A Collaboration Built on Purpose
The partnership between Cryptic CBL and Pink Smoke demonstrated what can be achieved when two organisations unite behind a shared purpose.
Cryptic has become recognised across Second Life for its professional boxing events, championship competitions and growing community. However, this collaboration offered an opportunity to use that platform for something beyond entertainment.
By joining forces with Pink Smoke and its "Stronger Than My Silence" campaign, Cryptic was able to bring its fighters, staff, supporters and wider audience together in support of causes that affect people both inside and outside the virtual world.
The event also highlighted an important message: although Second Life is a virtual environment, the friendships, experiences, challenges and compassion within its communities are very real.
A Heartfelt Thank You to Every Single Supporter
Cryptic CBL would like to extend its deepest gratitude to Pink Smoke for the opportunity to collaborate on such an important initiative.
Special appreciation also goes to every fighter who participated, every staff member and volunteer who helped organise the event, and every individual who attended, donated or helped spread awareness.
While Foggy and Kam Ritchie deserve recognition for their remarkable generosity, our gratitude extends equally to every person who donated, regardless of the amount.
It is important to recognise that fundraising success is not measured solely by the largest contributions, but by the collective kindness of everyone willing to give what they can.
Every Linden dollar represented an act of generosity, and together those individual contributions created something truly extraordinary.
For Cryptic and Pink Smoke, that is what made this event so special.
More Than Boxing. More Than a Championship.
As the evening came to a close, one thing was abundantly clear: the greatest victory of the night was not achieved inside the boxing ring.
It was achieved through generosity, unity and the collective determination of a community coming together to support others.
With L$118,000 raised, three worthy causes supported, a memorable fundraising contest between Foggy and Kam Ritchie, and an incredible show of generosity from the wider Second Life community, the "Stronger Than My Silence" charity event will hold a special place in Cryptic's history.
The success of the event serves as a reminder that even in a virtual world, communities have the power to create meaningful, real-world impact.
To everyone who attended, participated, donated, volunteered or supported this event in any way — thank you.
You have all played a part in something truly meaningful, and your kindness and generosity will never be taken for granted.
L$118,000 raised. Three worthy causes. One incredible community.
